Tomahawk is one of the 50 original cars from Carmageddon: TDR 2000. It first appears in Hollowood, being one of the first vehicles the player encounters in the game.

Design

This car resembles the Volkswagen Type 1, commonly known as the Beetle. It appears to have some Baja Bug body modifications, and has a Native American-styled livery.

Performance

Tomahawk is a below average vehicle, not being a great choice for racing, nor wasting opponents. It also has an understeer problem. The car is quite cheap for the starting area, however..

Driver

The driver, named "Psychohontas" in the files, is entirely modeled (except for her feet), even though she's barely visible. She has a generic Native American look, down to the clothes, body painting, and headbands.

Trivia

• Tomahawk's file name is "DubDub".
• The young woman driver is named after famous Indian Pocahontas. Psychohontas' short name, Squaw, means "indigenous woman of North America".
• Tomahawk was mainly the work of 3D artist David Biggs.
• Inside the files for Tomahawk there is an info .txt file for an earlier iteration of the vehicle:

Trivia

• The name of the driver is taken from an earlier name for the game's version of the driver. As seen in the "dubdub.txt" file, the name was "Cheff RedKin".
