The Sled is one of the new vehicles introduced in the Splat Pack expansion from the original Carmageddon, driven by Sinthea. It first appears among the second batch of opponents and is not stealworthy.

Design

The Sled is a 1940's car with bloodied blades attached to its wheels, the race number 73 and a license plate on the rear that reads as "Kill U 2".

Trivia

• The Sled replaces Leadpumper.
• It takes its name from the term 'lead sled', a type of bodywork modification for older cars. However the Sled is not most pure example of lead sled. It has trunk door's handle still intact. Usually lead sleds have every factory trim and door handles removed for maximal "smoothness" of vehicle.
• The description mentioning "Agent Orange's untimely demise" is most likely referencing him being killed by zombies in the censored intro to the original Carmageddon.
• The Sled was most definitely made by interns. It is one of the worst models in the whole series. It's wheels are oval shaped.
• Sinthea's name looks to be based on Synthea; the 'Sin' part is fairly obvious. It is spelt 'Synthea' in the Splat Pack bio, but that was a spelling error.
• Some players have reported the Sled crashing the Splat Pack should it be present in a race, may be due strange settings in the car's vehicle file. Same thing happens with the Bugutti.
• Wheel blades of the Sled are not meant to spin, it was setup error.
• It is possibility the Sled was loosely based of Carmageddon 1 concept.
