The Red Vet is one of the 41 original cars from Carmageddon II: Carpocalypse Now, driven by Ashteroid. It first appears among the second batch of opponents.

Design

The Vet is based upon a Chevrolet Corvette C2 'Sting Ray'. It is colored red and has two blades on its front. Its race number is 37.

Trivia

• This vehicle originally had bloodied blades. However, the blood was removed from it, and every other vehicle with blood on them on release. The bloodied blades are included in the version of this vehicle from Carmageddon 64.
• The Red Vet is one of two vehicles with the number 37. The other is Flower Plower.
• Another vehicle based on the Corvette C2 would later appear in Carmageddon: TDR 2000, being Limey.
  • Gorvette, another TDR 2000 vehicle, also has elements of the C2 on its design.
