The Chef is one of the 50 original cars from Carmageddon: TDR 2000. It first appears in the Military Zone, being encountered very late in the game.

Design

The Chef is a severely modified red Lamborghini Diablo, it has a chopping knife lodged on its roof, and grater body panels. It's underside is completely armoured.

Performance

Its biggest strength is its very high top speed, reaching 360mph when fully upgraded. Its handling is also quite good, but not the best. It also has some wasting potential for weaker vehicles.

Driver

The driver, named "Eddie Gourmet" in the files, is a bloodied, and vicious-looking chef. Its hat is squished by the car's roof.

Trivia

• Gourmet food is that very small, extensively prepared meal with a giant price tag.
• The car name and the driver are a reference to South Park character Chef. Womanizer and a lover of fat women as indicated in S10 E1 "Return Of The Chef", in-game description has it all.
• Inside the files for the Chef there is an info .txt file for an earlier iteration of the vehicle, with most of the elements taken from McKilem:
