- The car is based on a 1937 Ford De Luxe.
- In Carmageddon 64, the vehicle is renamed Godrod, and the numbers on the side are flipped upside down, so they read 999.
- This car is in the intro of the Playstation Version, but is not in the game itself.
- Rod's face paint bears a resemblance to that of early 1990s professional wrestler The Ultimate Warrior.
- Hellrod's picture in Carmageddon II is the only one on plain grey ground, instead of the usual sandy surface.
