Ramraider is one of the new vehicles introduced in the Splat Pack expansion from the original Carmageddon, driven by Big Daddy. It first appears among the second batch of opponents and is not stealworthy.

Design

It is based on a green Mk1 Land Rover (later renamed the Land Rover Defender). It has a tree trunk with a ram head attached to it going through its rear window and coming out its windshield. Its race number is 8.

Performance

It's average vehicle with decent armor and speed, but it's offence is lacking.

Driver

Big Daddy appears to be a muscular man, wearing face paint, nose piercings, an American flag bandanna, and a white shirt with seemingly another American flag.

Trivia

• Ramraider replaces Tanka.
• Ram-raiding is when criminals use a vehicle as a battering ram to break through a shopfront, enabling them to loot it.
• A Ram is a male sheep.
• A Battering ram is a solid rod, generally used to break open doors. The Ram Raider has one attached to the front of it.
• In the info screen, Ramraider is colored black instead of green, likely due to palette issues.
• Big Daddy should not to be confused with Bigdaddy, a racing vehicle added to Carmageddon: TDR 2000 by The Nosebleed Pack.
• Ramraider is one of 9 cars with the "8" race number. The others are: Fraud Broko, LadyBug2, Purple Piledriver, Ray Zee Fool's vehicle, Caddy Fat Cat in Carmageddon 64, Vlad 3 also in C64, The Mecha, and Buggy.
• A similar vehicle driven by General P. Ram is featured in Carmageddon (PlayStation).
