Project X is one of the 30 original cars from Carmageddon. It appears together with the third tier of vehicles, and is not stealworthy.
Design
The vehicle is a grey three-wheeled contraption in the shape of a hammer. The front wheels are normal, but the rear wheel is a wide roller, covered in spikes. A red stripe covers the top of it, ending in the cockpit which is located between both sides of the "hammer". The right side has the number 6, while the left has an "H".

Design
This version is smoother. The "H" has been replaced with a "II", and both it and the number 6 were made to be bright yellow.

Project X appears in the official Carmageddon comic, being driven by Hammerhead.
Design
It appears with two distinct designs: The first being from the original Carmageddon, and the second being the one from the concept from Carmageddon: Reincarnation, which would be used later in Carmageddon: Max Damage.
Story
After a brief skirmish with Ivan the Bastard, the original Project X was completely destroyed in the official Carmageddon comic episode The Bear and The Shark when Ivan crushes the car using The Bear. After some gridnding, welding, sanding, and cookies, the new and improved Project X stands ready in Hammerhead's workshop.
Trivia
- Project X appeared in the comic two years before its actual inclusion in Max Damage.

Project X is one of the new cars from Carmageddon: Max Damage. It first appears in Group 6, being part of the semi-final batch of vehicles the player encounters in the game.
Design
While still retaining its "Hammerhead Shark" shape, the vehicle's design features tracks instead of wheels with an additional rear track replacing the large metal roller. The new design appears to be more sleek and modern, lacking the angular, armored look of its original counterpart. In contrast to the original, the vehicle'ss cockpit is now much closer to the front as well as featuring glass instead of armored metal sheets.

Trivia
- Project X was originally supposed to appear with the initial release of Carmageddon: Reincarnation. However, the vehicle ended up being withheld until Carmageddon: Max Damage due to the tracked vehicle technology not being ready at the time.
