The Wheel is one of the 50 original cars from Carmageddon: TDR 2000. It first appears in Hollowood, being one of the first vehicles the player encounters in the game.

Design

It is a wooden contraption in the shape of a wheel with battle axes on each side pointing to opposite directions. The car's engine is positioned at its center, and is visible from the outside due to the gaps in the vehicle.

Driver

The driver, named "Mono Massacre" in the files, sits on a chair in front of the car's engine. He's a bearded man with the name GG Allin tattooed on his forearm. His entire body is modeled since the inside of the Wheel is completely visible.

Trivia

• Look at that stats box - it's the only car in the entire history of Carmageddon that has a variable top speed!
• The driver's name (Mono) means 'single', referring to the single wheel.
• For unknown reasons, parts of the Wheel's texture highly resemble those of the Annihilator from the first Carmageddon. These parts aren't used in-game.
• Inside the files for the Wheel there is an info .txt file for an earlier iteration of the Spectre:
