Mayan Magnificence Hotels is a location in Carmageddon Splat Pack. Although it is the first level, and the player first encounters it at rank 99, it is one of three levels unlocked at the start of the game, so may not be the first one played.
Carmageddon Splat Pack
The location is the grounds of a Mayan-themed hotel. There are several dingy tunnels and brightly-coloured totems, as well as open areas. Modern sections can be found, such as pristine hotel corridors and water towers. There is a water room with a waterfall and bridge, and a couple of layered pyramids. The far east of the map has a flat plain, and the east coast has a tall point (the powerups on top can be reached using wall climber).
Trivia
- The level titles reference the ancient Mayan, Inca and Aztec civilisations.
- This level was likely meant to appear in original Carmageddon. Reson why it was canned is not known.
- It is possible majority of level was made by Stainless and only finalized by interns. It differs considerably from rest of Splat Pack-levels.
