MagnaChem Rural Developments Inc. is a location in Carmageddon Splat Pack. The player first encounters it at rank 99, as one of three levels unlocked at the start of the game.
Carmageddon Splat Pack
This mountainous country terrain is covered in rocks and trees, with very steep climbs and drops at points. At the top of one large hill in the east is the State Penitentiary, which Jail Brake uses as its start point. The square prison has two exits, which lead to a raised roadway that spans most of the map (some of the road has a glass roof). This winding road joins onto a multi-story car park (which cannot be accessed from ground level) in the south-west, and a giant nuclear reactor. The reactor, located in the south-east, is split over two buildings, and the central funnel can be reached via a partially-concealed tunnel on one side.
The countryside slopes down to the foot of cheer cliffs at the edges. Pedestrians include policemen, prisoners, sheep and men in hazmat suits.
Trivia
- The description for the Jail Brake level states that many of the MagnaChem board are residents of the jail in this location.
