Flower Plower is one of the 41 original vehicles from Carmageddon II: Carpocalypse Now. It is unlocked upon beating the game, not appearing as an opponent.

Design

Flower Plower is based on a second generation Volkswagen Type 2 with light blue painjob and all kinds of hippie decorations. It most notable modifications are tank tracks, barred windows and huge V8-engine in the trunk.

Performance

It is not especially good vehicle. Despite high weight, it does not deal much damage and is atrocious to drive.

Trivia

• Flower Plower is a play on "flower power", a Hippie symbol of non-violence.
• While usual depictions of hippie vans in media are first generation, "Splitscreen" Type 2, Flower Plower contrasts this with it's second generation body.
• Model Bank has model of first generation Type 2, making generation of Flower Plower even more strange.
• Track setup of Flower Plower is somewhat odd. It has drive sprockets on each end of track and not drive sprocket on one end and idler wheel on other, like most real life vehicles would have. It's four suspension wheels are also very close together, making tracks surface area very small.
• Flower Plower is one of two cars with the "37" race number. The other is the Red Vet.
• Flower Plower makes an appearance in Carmageddon 64.
• Flower Plower is also featured in the official Carmageddon comic. In Episode 07: Where Eagles Die, Moon Child and a few of her hippie friends rescue a dying Max Damage with Flower Plower, referred as "BOOBSwagon", delivering him to Ed 101.
