Shark is one of the 50 original cars from Carmageddon: TDR 2000. It first appears in HiRise, being encountered halfway through the game.

Design

It is a Formula 1 car, with a shark-themed livery and pointy front wings.

Performance

It has incredible acceleration and top speed (360mph fully upgraded), but horrible handling. The vehicle struggles in off-road terrain and will spin out on any bumpy surface. In terms of wasting other cars, it isn't any good at it, but Shark is surprisingly not easy to wreck as there is a possibility of cars driving over it.

Driver

The driver, named "Jaws Verne" in the files, has only the top part of its body modeled. They wear a blue jacket, and a helmet with shark teeth design.

Trivia

• Jaws Verne = Jules Verne, the science-fiction author.
• The driver should not be confused with Jaws, the metal shark-shaped vehicle added by The Nosebleed Pack, this car is named after its blue shark paintjob.
• " Eat me " is an insult generally said by women.

F1 is one of the 20 vehicles in the cancelled Game Boy Color port of Carmageddon: TDR 2000. It appears as a normal opponent on Races 1 and 2 of Necropolis, and Race 1 of Police Compound.

Design

The sprite depicts it as a yellow and blue IndyCar, and has not much resemblance to the original except for the menu art.

Performance

F1 has astonishing handling and acceleration, but despite what the stats may imply, it has an average top speed. Its wasting potential is low, but it can take a beating.

Trivia

• F1 is the most expensive vehicle in the game.
• F1's menu art appears to have been traced from the screenshot glimpsed at the May 2000 issue of the Micromania Tercera Epoca magazine.
