The Rubber Ducky is one of the 50 original cars from Carmageddon: TDR 2000. It first appears in Hollowood, being one of the first vehicles the player encounters in the game.

Design

It is a shower bathtub turned into a car. The engine is placed inside of the tub, ahead of the driver. Two large exhausts extend from the car's sides.

Driver

The driver, named "Ernie Duck" in the files, is always visible due to the car being a bathtub, and for that reason he's near fully modeled, except for his feet. He wears a red sleeveless undershirt and blue jeans.

Trivia

• The driver is a reference to Ernie (one half of Bert and Ernie) from famous children's show Sesame Street. Ernie is well known for playing with his Rubber Duck in the bath; he even released a song about it.
• His description is a bad gag about the dangers of prison showers, as well as people suggesting that Bert & Ernie are gay.
• Inside the files for Rubber Ducky there is an info .txt file for an earlier iteration of the vehicle, although there aren't that many differences:
