Several of the Carmageddon games have a selectable difficulty level. Usually allowing a choice between easy, medium and hard (but with more creative names), the level chosen determines the amount of credits earned from certain actions (such as killing a pedestrian or clearing a checkpoint), as well as the time allocated for races and several other aspects.
