The Carmageddon Max Pack was a compilation pack, bundling Carmageddon and the Splat Pack together in new packaging.

Carmageddon Max Pack

Carmageddon Max Pack was released in the same year as the Splat Pack^{[confirmation needed]}. It was a repackaging containing both Carmageddon and the Splat Pack, along with a mousemat, keyring and solutions booklet. The version of Carmageddon included was the uncensored edition, with human pedestrians and red blood.

The Max Pack was re-released digitally by GoG.com on 27 September 2012. GOG specializes in digital distribution of older games, updating them to ensure compatibility with modern Windows computers. It is priced at $9.99, but anyone who pledged more than $25 to the Carmageddon: Reincarnation Kickstarter campaign received a voucher to download a free copy.

The digital release includes the games & manuals, desktop wallpaper, mp3 soundtrack, forum avatars, concept art, and papercraft cars made by community member Harmalarm.

Carmageddon: Special Edition

The Special Edition was a strictly limited edition run of 2500 copies, available in the UK from Virgin Megastores and the SCi website. In addition to the standard edition's contents, the package also included:

• 1 T shirt (XL, 100% cotton)
• 1 Poster
• 1 Window Sticker - "So many Pedestrians, so little time"
• 1 Individually numbered Certificate of Authenticity

It was also sold in Spain, but this time the game was censored (the original game that appeared in Spain was not censored) and come with a keyring and a mousemat.
