Psycho Pitbull

Psycho Pitbull is recurring character in Carmageddon-series. He is usually portrayed by Stainless co-founder Neil "N0bby" Barnden. He is one of the few characters to have appeared in all Stainless-made entries of series.

Psycho Pitbull started as man with dog collar. Later entries in series up-plays his love of dogs, making Towmeister appear more dog like in newer games and Psycho himself have adapted more dog like features.

He is one of the few character's in series to presumed to own pets. C1 incarnation of Towmeister has pictures of Lily the Dog inside of cockpit.

Carmageddon 2

Psycho Pitbull in Carmageddon 2 is black clad blonde man with neck collar and chains around his chest. His sole appearance in C2 is in mission Trucking Hell.

Carmageddon: Reincarnation

This iteration of Psycho Pitbull is muscular middle aged man wearing loads of dog related gear. He also has dog tattoo. Reincarnation Psycho Pitbull was based directly of Neil Barnden, with some liberties taken while drawing torso and arms. Photo-bashing was made by Doug Telford.

Carmageddon: Crashers

Carmageddon: Crasher's Psycho Pitbull is identical to Reincarnation one. However this entry also shows submissive side of Psycho via wreckscreen. Crashers also expands lore by giving him custom shop called Rusty Dog Customs.

Trivia

• While Psycho Pitbull is usually driving Towmeister, in TDR 2000 his car is driven by Hugh Jorgen and in Carmageddon (PS1) by Pitbull.
• Pitbull owns a Weimaraner dog named Lily, and loves it very much - there are two photos and one drawing of her in the Towmeister's cabin.
  • As this is a genuine photograph, the dog could be the pet of a former Stainless Software employee. It is most likely Neil 'Nobby' Barnden, who was the Lead Artist on Carmageddon: You could see pictures of a similar looking dog (called Lotte) on His old website.
