Dusty Trails Quayside Complex (also known as Dusty Trails Scenic Coastal Drive, and Dusty Trails Ocean Drive) is a location in the original Carmageddon, and the Funsize port. The player first encounters it at Rank 84.
General Info
This coastal region features a Quay, complete with yachts bobbing on the tide. The roads wind up and down the hillside, and there is a jump (with a way around) to the south-east.
The level Mist Me! is misty, and the level Off Quay is set at night.
Trivia
- This location is named as Dusty Trails Scenic Coastal Drive for the level Mist Me!, and Dusty Trails Ocean Drive for By the Seascythe in the original release. All of them have been changed to just being Dusty Trails Quayside Complex in the Funsize port. Dusty Trails Ocean Drive became the name of the map housing the levels I Scream in the Sun, Terror on the Trails, and Beaches of Blood, which were originally labelled as Dusty Trails National Park.
- A remake of this location, known as Beaver County Coast, was made for Carmageddon 64. The location is mostly the same, aside from the yachts being removed.
